Wayne Davis’ practice is concerned with light and form in painting. Davis’ aims to paint in a clear visual style with as broad appeal as possible.

Davis finds the tradition of Still Life painting an invaluable subject for painters learning the craft. It allows for prolonged observation and can also be approached as a subject for a quick study.  Davis achieves originality in his painting by channelling all the traditional skill set, through his particular personality.
