Helen Stephens has been potting on and off since 1992 when she graduated from the National Art School in Sydney. Stephens loves throwing and making domestic ware, things that she would like to use herself. Occasionally Stephens get a bit frivolous and make something not quite so useful but fun to make and use creatively.

The oribe glazes have obsessed Stephens for some years now and as a product of the National Art School, she has that overarching obsession/passion/love of Japanese ceramics and culture.
