The Goulburn Art Award began in 1992 and is held every two years. It is open to artists living within a 120km radius of Goulburn working in any medium. The Award represents the talent and diversity of artists working within the region. The Gallery encourages submissions from artists at all stages of their careers.

About Rachel Kent:

Rachel Kent has served as CEO of Bundanon since September 2021. Rachel is an experienced arts leader, art historian and head curator with extensive experience working with international museums and cultural institutions. Prior to her appointment at Bundanon, Rachel was the Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Australia and has presented exhibitions in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the USA, and Canada, including major solo presentations by Do Ho Suh, Doug Aitken, Cornelia Parker, Yoko Ono and Grayson Perry. She speaks widely on the arts and culture, including TEDx, sits on editorial and advisory panels for industry and government, is the author of multiple award-winning artist monographs, and is an international juror for art awards in Asia and Europe.
