Exhibiting in Gallery 2 with a focus on shared discussion through making Alexander Sarsfield has created a series of teabags made from intricately woven Raranga harakeke (New Zealand flax).
Join us in the gallery to view his solo exhibition English Breakfast, and engage with this special practice directly by making a weaving of your own.
We'll learn about his detailed material practice, and engage in conversation together.
Please note: to adhere to cultural protocols (tikanga), and to look after your wellbeing, the artist requests that you do not participate if you are menstruating or pregnant at the time of the session. More information can be provided can by the artist.
