Join Aryssa McAlister this NAIDOC Week for a special storytelling and painting experience.
 
In this workshop Aryssa will share stories and significant symbols from her art practice. You will learn about some important designs, create a personal key ring and work with other participants to create a collaborative painting on canvas boards. At the end of the workshop you will be able to take home your special part of the collaborative painting.
 
About Aryssa McAlister
Aryssa McAlister is a Goulburn based Aboriginal artist and a proud Wiradjuri woman. She works with many different mediums including canvas painting, digital art and clay. Aryssa has been creating for as long as she can remember but has only recently entered into the world of professional art having created her first commission piece back in 2018. Aryssa has worked very closely with Pejar Local Aboriginal Lands Council in numerous schools around the Goulburn area sharing her culture and art.
