The Goulburn Art Award 2024 and Young Artist Award. Running since 1992, the Goulburn Art Award is a highly anticipated biennial prize open to artists living within a 120km radius of Goulburn and working in any medium. The Award represents the talent and diversity of artists working within the region, with this year’s exhibition consisting of over sixty finalists. Judged by Bree Pickering, Director, National Portrait Gallery, the Goulburn Art Award 2024 winner will be announced at the opening, so join us with fingers crossed and eyes peeled.
Exhibiting in in Gallery 2 is Anna Madeleine Raupach, a multidisciplinary artist based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country Canberra, Australia. Utilizing Augmented Reality, Raupach's exhibition The Forecast Factory generates dynamic visual compositions in response to real-time weather data.
Curating the latest exhibition from our permanent collection in The Window is Michelle McAleer. A local performer and educator with vast experiences on and back-stage, we can’t wait to share Michelle's take on our holdings.
This event is free of charge and open to all, so book in and join us to celebrate an extensive array of local practices. Click here to book your ticket.
