Parents and kids, whip out the pens and pencils and join us in the Gallery to create a new kind of artwork based on your own backyard. Explore the wonderful microscopic world of dirt and make an artwork out of it.

Exhibiting artist Sophia Dacy-Cole will facilitate a workshop to help you get in touch with the wonderful world of soil.  Participants will bring soil samples from around their homes and observe the wonderful microcosm to generate hand drawn studies and notes. Bring out your inner scientist to create works of art inspired by nature.
