Everyone has a favourite chair. Have you seen the ones in Eliza Gosse's work in the Archibald Prize 2023? Join us in the Gallery on Saturday 17 February for a still life workshop led by the artist featuring this famous chair.

Taking inspiration from Eliza Gosse's work Breakfast at Ours, 2023, participants will produce a still life in watercolour and pastel.

Eliza Gosse explores life through the lens of architecture – specifically the clean, simple lines of post-war and mid-century design. Drawn to forms produced decades before she herself was born, Gosse creates paired back images that are not so much a depiction as an evocation of an era or place, or the people who may once have lived there.

This program is open to adults 16 years and over. It costs $30.00 + booking fee and includes an untimed ticket to view the Archibald Prize 2023 exhibition.
