High School Art Club is a nine week program of art making and responding. The program for the upcoming term will emphasize concept and skill development. Students will learn how to create from observation; accurately record proportions, colour and form. Working from life, reference images, and imagination, lessons will involve both working to a brief and exploring and developing personal concepts. Drawing will form the basis for the majority of lessons and a variety of materials will be used including pencil, felt tip pen, oil pastel and charcoal.
