Goulburn is home to over 40 diverse public art projects that have enlivened public space in the region for decades. We are seeking Expressions of Interests from artists to bring our next Public Art Project to life! 

The Gallery is seeking Expressions of Interest from professional artists for the original design and execution of a large-scale mural covering the underpass of Tarlo Street Bridge which crosses the Wollondilly River. This is a great opportunity to conceive of a bold and exciting public art proposal. The successful artist or artist collaborators will receive a fee of $24,500. 

The selection process will occur over two stages:

1. Submit an Expression of Interest Form and other submission material outlined in the document by 5pm Monday 11 September 2023 to artgallery@goulburn.nsw.gov.au

2. Three shortlisted artists will be selected and asked to submit a design concept by 5pm Monday 9 October 2023
