The 2020 Goulburn Art Award welcomes Karen Quinlan AM, Director of the National Portrait Gallery as judge.  Quinlan has been the Director of the National Portrait Gallery since December 2019 after an incredible eighteen years as Director of Bendigo Art Gallery.  She is one of the most respected and innovative arts leaders in Australia and will lend an exceptional eye to the Art Award.

The 2020 Goulburn Art Award showcases the work of artists from within a 120km radius of Goulburn working across any medium, with two major prizes awarded - the Goulburn Art Award and the Young Artists Award.

Works from our local Arts Access program are featured in Gallery 2. Initially funded by IMB Community Foundation until June 2019, and ongoing by the Gallery, artists Penny Saxton, Lynne Flemons and Pauline Mullen were employed to work with three local facilities in Goulburn; Warrigal Care, the Crescent School, and the Psychogeriatric Unit at Kenmore Hospital.  The works in this exhibition were created during these workshops.

Local wines will be served along with light refreshments.
