Goulburn Regional Art Gallery

Goulburn Regional Art Gallery presents “2622” - an exhibition of nine Braidwood artists from 12 July – 21 August. This exhibition showcases recent works of established and emerging artists – Surya Bajracharya, Olivia Bernardoff, Phil Day, Julian Laffan, Cathy Peake, Bruce Radke, Kate Stevens, Jonathon Throsby
and John R Walker.
Braidwood, on the Southern Tablelands of NSW, is a
small country town of just over 1,000 people. It is estimated
that there are well over 100 artists (including
musical, visual and literary) living in the area. 2622 is
an exciting exhibition showcasing nine emerging and
established artists, working in various mediums. Though
not all working in the landscape genre, all reported
being influenced by their environment and the local
landscape in some way.

To be opened by guest speaker Robin Wallace-Crabbe, a respected Braidwood painter andwriter himself, 17 July @ 3pm. Cecile
Galiazzo, the curator, will be giving an informative
floor talk on the artists and theirwork at GRAG on 22
July at 12.30pm
